Uganda Securities Exchange and Risk Insights Forge Strategic Partnership to Advance ESG Standards and Sustainability Practices
The Uganda Securities Exchange (USE) and Risk Insights (RI) are honoured to announce their strategic partnership to use RI’s AI-powered rating tools- ESG GPG and A-Cubed for issuers in the Uganda / East Africa-based companies. This collaboration is designed to improve Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) disclosure practices in Uganda and East Africa. Leveraging Risk Insights' pioneering expertise in ESG solutions, the partnership will empower various stakeholders, e.g., USE-listed, Uganda / East Africa operating unlisted companies, asset managers, and authorities to adopt sustainable business practices that align with global standards while addressing specific country’s priorities.
This transformative partnership integrates Risk Insights’ Artificial Intelligence-powered platforms - ESG GPS™ and A-Cubed™. ESG GPS™ to provide every listed company with comprehensive ESG ratings, disclosure insights, and analytics, equipping them and other stakeholders with strategic business intelligence, including international benchmarks. A-Cubed™ extends these capabilities to privately owned, unlisted companies, supply chains, state-owned companies offering actionable insights. This collaboration ensures a seamless flow of timely ESG data, enabling informed decision-making for investors, analysts, and other stakeholders while increasing access to sustainable capital.
