February has had us all thinking and recalibrating … with the fast spread of the new variant across the Globe, the new turn in geopolitical tensions, inflationary pressure and ESG becoming more relevant … major news on the front pages of the worlds news agencies. Success comes to those who stay on course and doing right things everyday. ESG is a growing requirement these days for companies to be successful in the long run. Our February edition Newsletter provides many nuggets of wisdom, and new faces of our team. We hope that our small investment in the ESG agenda across Africa and Globe will allow us together to make a this world more sustainable place for all … every step counts. ESG GPS™ is excited to welcome on board its latest edition to our Independent Ratification Committee, Wanjiru Kirima, Chairperson of Sustainability Committee for Implementation of Sustainable Investment for Pension Funds in Southern Africa, and the newest Chairperson of the ESG GPS™ Kenya Independent Ratification Committee.

Risk Insights launched ESG GPS™ X-Ray
Risk Insights™ launched the new ESG GPS™ strategic business intelligence tool ESG GPS™ X-Ray. ESG GPS™ X-Ray reports the ESG related materiality factors which companies disclose. This strategic business intelligence tool assists financial institutions, asset managers, policy makers and all stakeholders to see through into companies ESG disclosure and sustainability strategies. We at Risk Insights™ are very proud to provide a tool that can support and compliment the disclosure guidelines initiative of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange announced a few weeks ago to position South Africa and our continent towards carbon neutrality in an effective, consistent and transparent manner. We have provided access to every listed company to access X-Ray at no charge for a limited period until 1st April 2022.

Window on the Week Season 4
Risk Insights™ continues to provide you with strategic insights on ESG with Window on the Week. As a member of the World Economic Forum New Champions this February we talked about WEF 2022 Davos Agenda and how Global Leaders have been addressing ESG agenda as a key factor towards sustainability at the World Economic Forum event between the 17th to 21st of January 2022, we also provide you with some insights regarding the launch of the latest product from ESG GPS - ESG GPS™ X-Ray.
