Window on the Week: S02E05 – The Importance of the New Champion’s Community for Globally Economic Stability (feat. Julia Devos from WEF)

Welcome to this week’s Window on the Week where we will be interviewing Julia Devos, the Head of The New Champions Community at the World Economic Forum (WEF), about the important role that the New Champion’s Community plays in promoting midsized companies and economic stability globally.

WEF began in 1971 as a not-for-profit organization in Geneva, Switzerland. Via its work, WEF aims to improve the state of the world and strives in all its efforts to demonstrate entrepreneurship in the global public interest while upholding the highest standards of governance. The Forum commits to being a leader in sharing best practices for sustainability.

The New Champions Community, which forms part of WEF, includes mid-sized dynamic high-growth companies that are championing new business models, emerging technologies, and sustainable growth strategies in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. New Champions are mindful of their impact on society and aspire to participate in building a better future.
